Unlike traditional larkspur, 'White Cloud' blooms in delicate airy sprays rather than spires of classic larkspur, making it both flower and filler in one. Its bright white blossoms are bird-like and truly charming, perfect for adding softness to arrangements.

    Planting Instructions

    SOWING:

    Transplant: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before planting out. Tolerant of cooler temps so transplant in the early spring after hardening plants off. Direct seed as soon as the ground is workable. 

    Germination Requirements: Cover as it requires darkness to germinate.

    Days to Germination: 14-21 days at 55 ℉ Does not germ well above 55 ℉  Note: To improve germination, chill seed one week before sowing.

    Light Preference: Full sun to part shade

    Plant Height:  24-36 inches

    Plant Spacing: 6 inches

    Pinching: Not necessary

    Flower Support: This plant is very branchy making it difficult to harvest when using netting

    Days to Bloom: 100-110 days

    HARVEST AND VASE LIFE:

    Yield: 4-7 stems

    Harvest Fresh: Cut when 1/3 of stem is in bloom, buds will continue to open up after harvest.

    Expected Vase Life: 7 days

    Harvest Dry: Allow flowers to open and hang upside down to dry
